The Yunus Emre Institute has made it its core mission to teach Turkish as a global language in accordance with international standards and scientific methods. Through our extensive network both domestically and internationally, we play a pioneering role in the teaching of the Turkish language. In line with this, all teaching aids and educational materials, designed in accordance with contemporary language teaching techniques, are meticulously prepared by our expert staff and made available for use. To maintain the highest standards of quality in our educational processes, we conduct our teaching activities under the guidance of certified instructors. As part of our learner-centred approach, our classrooms are designed to be at least 20–30 square metres in size, accommodate groups of 8–16 people, and feature a ‘U-shaped’ layout to facilitate communication. Equipped with interactive whiteboards, thematic language posters and supplementary materials developed specifically for the target audience, our classrooms maximise learner engagement with the lesson. Taking into account the individual differences and learning speeds of our students, we develop bespoke programmes suitable for every level and need. At our Turkish Cultural Centres located across the globe, education is delivered in classes segregated by age group and language proficiency level.
